Battery Life Factors: Battery performance depends on various factors, including user weight, terrain, temperature, and charge level.

Charging Safety:

  • Important: Never charge the battery overnight or leave it unattended while charging. Always remain nearby during charging.
  • Regular Use: Lithium batteries have no memory effect, so you can charge the battery as often as needed. However, after every 10-15 charge cycles, fully deplete the battery before recharging.

Long-Term Storage:

  • Charge the battery to approximately 65% (or 3 bars on the battery LED or handlebar LCD) before storage.
  • Recharge every 1.5 months for 30-45 minutes only.
  • DO NOT fully charge unless planning to use the battery soon. Avoid storing the battery fully charged or completely drained.

Storage Conditions:

  • Keep the battery in a cool, dry place away from moisture, heat, and sunlight.
  • Avoid leaving it in extreme temperatures, such as inside a hot or cold vehicle.

Charging Best Practices:

  • Do not leave the battery plugged into the charger for extended periods after the charger light turns green.
  • Never charge or store the battery near water sources, heating elements, or appliances like microwaves, fireplaces, or air conditioners.
  • Use only the supplied charger and charger cord from Rio Mobility. Third-party chargers or cords can cause damage. If the charge port or plug is loose or damaged, stop using it and contact us immediately.

Technical Specifications:

  • Maximum charging voltage: 36V
  • Maximum charging output: 2A
